Two brothers end up separated for one of them has mental issues. Meanwhile one of the two follows his dream in becoming a magician. Filled with surrealism and slaspstick moments the film is a speechless adventure of emotions providing laughters and fear, emptyness and joy, but mostly a stunnig and memorable visual spectacle. . Ken S (gb) wrote: Definitely a B-film from Universal Great Horror Period. While billed as co-starring Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff, Lugosi only briefly appears, and not with Karloff (even stranger was that I watched this movie on a DVD billed as the Bela Lugosi Collection). Karloff plays a surgeon whose friend is dying, and in order to save his life, the surgeon implants a portion of a gangsters brain...and the friend starts to act like the gangster (and Karloff uses this to his advantage in order to get some money the gangster has hidden). It is weird and kind of dull and not particularly good. I didn't really get into this one for whatever reason.
