(ag) wrote: Horrible dialogue doesn't help the better actors and makes the poorer actors worse. Good effort in the low budget division of film and is on a par with 80s/90s Dr. Who episodes. Last third of movie is padded out with chase scenes as it runs out of ideas and it's not a good enough movie to carry that type of ending. Good effort, worth a watch for sci-fi fans mainly.

This movie solidifies my statement that Jim Jarmusch is painfully underrated as a director. This movie follows William Blake, a timid accountant from Cleveland, Ohio traveling west in hope to find a new job. These supposed, "top critics" have silver, maybe even gold spoons shoved so far up their asses they cannot or will not admire the genius of Jarmusch.

(kr) wrote: Are you ready to see full douche Stiller. The Heartbreak Kid is about a man thinks he just married the perfect woman only to discover that she is a terrible person for him - just in time he meets the perfect woman. Ben Stiller's character in this movie is such a dick and such a big tool that I couldn't get into his character at all, i mean his the main character of the film and I should be cheering him on, but what went in my mind during the movie was "Just Die". Malin Akerman plays the annoying crazy wife that started off alright at the first, but then out of nowhere she turns into a crazy psycho wife. This movie has unlikable characters and a lazy cliche script.

See a stripper portrayed as the most moral person in society, that alone reason to watch, even as Fuller exploits her every chance he gets ...
