Jim P (ag) wrote: It was a good movie that I enjoyed. It had a well chosen cast. It was very suspenseful, and kept me interested throughout the entire film. Tommy Lee Jones stars as a New Orleans police detective, who's investigating a bunch of murders alongside this he struggles with his sanity and fights his past alcohol addiction as he digs deeper into the case. It has a very good supporting cast including John Goodman, Ned Beatty, and Mary Steenburgen as Beatty's onscreen wife. 5/27/14

Tommaso D (br) wrote: Zodiac is an extremely low-paced thriller, quite unexpected from director David Fincher, that can result to be frustrating at times. With a little more speed this very talented cast would hsve menaged to deliver much more thril.

Pernilla N (us) wrote: When it came first i thougt it was great showing how people in a small village could react when somethings changed their lives and nothing will never be the same. But when i saw it again i didnt feel anything, not a movie that stays in your mind.

Robert M (fr) wrote: Fairly interesting story, but it takes place in a neat digital video game world. The interface world itself to me definitely looked unique for it's time in filmaking. It also included a pretty epic journey saving the entire digital interface realm while having a real in-depth but different story especially for a Disney film. Even though I may not have thought it was necessarily great, there really doesn't seem to be another film like this one out there. Good sounds and action scenes for a couple more big pluses.

Paul T (ru) wrote: If you've seen the Hughes Brother's Ripper tale and Johnny Depp starrer 'From Hell', then you're going to think you have deja vu when you see 1979's Murder By Decree. Several key plot elements from this very entertaining Sherlock Holmes meets The Ripper pastiche are equally integral to the plot of the latter, very different film. Rather than gritty, gore filled character study, here we have a thriller of manners, with Plummer and Mason in fine form as Sherlock Holmes and Watson, whose pithy partnership makes a fine counterbalance to the ghoulish Ripper storyline. I saw Murder By Decree when it was originally released and have never forgotten it - partly due to a haunting cameo appearance by the beautiful Genevieve Bujold - and while it has dated slightly, it is still well worth hunting down.
