Tristan M (mx) wrote: One of few good World War I movies, and deals with a creative and new topic: tunneling. Placing mines beneath the enemy lines and watch them explode in the largest explosion of the time. This movie is slow at times, but the acting is surprisingly good, and although there's a lot of people to keep track of, you get attached to them. If you are claustrophobic then don't watch this movie, because the movie mostly beneath ground with people getting trapped and stuff. And to top it all off the ending is great, problably the best World War I movie after The Lost Batalion.

Marischa B (gb) wrote: It is important to remember It is important to remember that this is a fan movie. For someone like me it was great fun to be reunited with characters one played in the games. Much to it's defense this production stayed more true to the atmosphere in the games that recent flicks, something every Resident Evil fan will recognize. As for those of you not familiar with the games I won't vouch for the movie, but you may have a enjoyable time watching it anyway. For the tec stuff. Graphics are all there although some of the animation could have been done better. This is not Pixar quality people say, but do have in mind the type of budget Pixar and the like have to work with. All around a decent go at bringing a game legend to the animated screen.

Which is funny as one of the suicidal patients was a 6ft transvistite played by none other than Alexander Skarsgard, who along with Julie Benz and Fares Fares, are the only characters u kinda give a damn about, abit of a mess, but those 3 make it worth a look, not too bad for an indie movie, I've seen worse, but seen better too!

Scott T (br) wrote: one of the best godzilla movies made...good original script, lots of monster mayhem. better effects than most of the films giving it a rather realistic feel. One of the best things about this film is how they made godzilla come across as more evil, you really get the feeling that godzilla is unstoppable and a true villan .

Eric O (jp) wrote: The best movie ever to feature Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. If you haven't seen this movie check it out.

Jonathan G (nl) wrote: Second time around it's still fun to watch the plot is very random but it's pretty funny some Of the situation leprechaun get into

Justin B (ag) wrote: Some of the goofier sci-fi elements are played too straight and too frequently to allow the beauty of the film to truly resonate.

Alec B (br) wrote: I love the way the film blends fantasy and politics. Essentially its a story about how two very different men learn to accept the opinions and belief systems of the other as ways to combat a oppressive environment (Julia promotes active resistance, while Hurt uses personal fantasy as a way to escape) and it all ends with one of the most moving acts of love I've ever seen.
