(us) wrote: a poor adaption of the novel, in fact there's hardly a single resemblance between this and the novel by Bret Easton Ellis except for the names of characters (although Robert Downey, Jr. was cast perfectly for his role). Taken as a standalone film, and it could be rated a little better, but there's not really any redeeming factors except for maybe the soundtrack and cinematography.

(es) wrote: Fantastic story of a lonely deformed man who lives under the paris opera house who teaches a wanna be opera singer. The low rating is disgraceful and ask everyone to ignore that. This was a beautiful musical with two great voices, Gerard Butler was a fantastic Phantom mainly at the acting roles, you really do feel his emotion. Favourite musical ever.
(br) wrote: 86%Watched this on 1/5/15Pandorum is an underrated sci-fi film which is actually meant for fans of the genre as well as fans of mind boggling films. Pandorum has good visual effects, an odd cinematography, but it also packs an original solid story although it seems to slightly take elements of it's plot from Danny Boyle's Sunshine. It has a terrific cast and credible plot twists and the concept as it starts to make sense is good.
(ca) wrote: Surprisingly not bad. Neither like an eighties movie nor a fake eighties movie, more like people trying to recreate what an eighties movie was like, but now. And the result is actually better than a lot of eighties movies, though not up there with the best of them either.
(jp) wrote: The Grand Budapest Hotel is a movie that excels in every aspect. It's remarkably well composed score, it's wide array of talented characters and of course it's inmediately memorable and appealing visuals; Wes Anderson's latest is a delight to see, even more so with all it manages to convey in it's surprisingly short runtime.
