Rodney S (br) wrote: This is a 1980 homicidal maniac thriller that kind of died, and then got revived a little when VHS took over. It's really a great little movie, starring Dan Grimaldi as the psycho, who goes berserk when he finds his Mother has died. She used to burn his arms over an oven, trying to drive out the evil spirits, so he's a pretty screwed up guy, that has finally flipped out. He starts picking up women, bringing them back to his creepy house, and after putting on his fire suit, burning the victims to death as they hang nude from the ceiling. The first kill is exceptionally good and nasty, as it really looks like he's burning this victim to death in a very very graphic scene. The rest of the movie skips the graphic stuff, just showing the burned corpses he is now collecting in a room. Pretty nasty movie, but done very well for the small budget, and excellent performances. The movie also has a memorable poster, which is different than the one pictured with this review. It comes in a great 3 DVD movie package titled "Grindhouse Psychos: Triple Feature", which I highly recommend. Note: The Grindhouse Psychos DVD includes, COP KILLERS, TENEMENT and DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE. Excellent triple feature.
