A wedding is key here, but I won't give out more plot details. I can guarantee you some clever turns and twists and a very fascinating story. The pace is superb as the story grows and grows without turning uninteresting. It looks good, it's well directed and it got some very good performances. Bier got some great films under her belt and this is in her top three for me. The newer ones seem poorer from reviews so I haven't given them a go, but her older ones are super solid.Very human and deeply moving film carried by superb performances and a very solid story.8.5 out of 10 stuck zippers.

David J (gb) wrote: The martial arts action is pretty typical Jet Li affair---high powered with a little too much wire work for my preference. This is one of the better titles out of Li's beat-em-up action flicks, but like the rest, its still weak on plot and quality acting. However, it has more compassion than some of the others, which works in the movie's favor.

Matt R (jp) wrote: This is a great little film about some of the "bad guys" from Cliff Stoll's story "The Cuckoo's Egg" - a group of West German hackers selling digitized secrets to the communists in East Berlin. The fear, the paranoia, the "hacker" community it portrays...the lifestyle and history of these guys is painted in clear, vivid lines. It's such a shame that this has never been subtitled and released in the US (at least, to my knowledge).

Dean K (jp) wrote: At last!!! I have been trying to remember the name of this film and find it for ages! Known as Wings of the Apache in the UK. This is basically Top Gun with the Apache gunship helicopter...I didn't even realize at the time Nicholas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones were in this! Must have have been a long time ago when I saw it, but it has some great action scenes. Well worth checking out!

Marissa T (es) wrote: Kind of mediocre and not to great an ending, just needed more development in the plot. But, Jack Nicholson holds this film up with a great young performance.

JohnnyLee T (jp) wrote: One of the most beautiful , glamorous and monstrous heroines ever in the history of cinema! One scene in particular will make your blood run cold it is so chilling. This is a 4-star movie until the hurried and unconvincing ending. Pity, because it has wonderful production values and glorious outdoor scenes in colour.Title comes from Shakespeare's Hamlet in which his father's ghost commands Hamlet in avenging his murder not to hurt his mother for her part in it but "leave her to heaven".

Ryan G (fr) wrote: Whether it's the original story or the script adaptations along the way, this doesn't feel much like a Jack Ryan adventure and could be any basic thriller. Also totally predictable kidnap and rescue of the girlfriend cliche.
