Bjrn T (gb) wrote: I like a movie that requieres a certain background to fully understand.

Kristoff D (gb) wrote: Just finished watching this. Great coming of age story of two boys in Belfast from other sides of the bridge.

Michael T (mx) wrote: Haha! Not bad for a straight to video. The protagonist has this habit of talking directly to the audience instead of hearing a voice-over, which is a neat little gimmick that helps push the movie along. The plot is a little thin, but there are a few lines in it that make it worth a rental.

Sean C (fr) wrote: This is a strange epic biopic, in that it respects the subject, but also revels in the ironic touch. While not a great film, in part due to some spotty narration, I enjoyed its depth and willingness to treat its subject in an unheroic, but admirable way. As usual, Robert Shaw was excellent and Jack Hawkins is good even when he doesn't have a line of dialogue.

Michael L (us) wrote: this was definetely interesting but not that great. the ending was a bit of a mess but perhaps that was intentional. dutronc makes a subtle van gogh and mutes his mania and fits he suffered at the end of his life.

Nigel L (mx) wrote: I would rather seeing him using legal system rules to defend the allegations against him regarding his revenge to those two bad guys, instead of killing all legal service men. I makes no point, defused the purpose.

Frank N (kr) wrote: Gripping thriller with a wonderful lead by Mortimer.
