This one focuses on men and I guess it's critiquing masculinity by exposing their spiritual weakness, but this genre is so good at exploring sides of life we don't normally see and I see men making weak decisions all the time. I guess I was disappointed by its choice of focus. Pretty engaging though.

My heart went out to all three of them, going through life as a creative person it is very hard to sustain a safe and secure living. All I can really say is that I do hope that all of them do continue writing and sharing the stories that are born in their imaginations. And I will say pizza is usually the answer to many creative problems.

Quite funny at times, scary, and great true adventure. The Ra, a later film was to proove Egyptians could have come from middle east all the way to S America! Which might go a long way to explain the pyramids, rituals so similar to both cultures..very interesting. Enjoyed watching it again after many years.

Rosemary K (es) wrote: This film has some sentimentality. A comedy duo travel all over the world and experience heartbreak and snags in Life.A sad scene that moved me,is when Eddie and Dixie are in the war zone; How can one watch young men get killed and not feel distraught? In spite of their differences, the two realize they still had love for each other.Beautiful performance by Midler and Caan.
