Jolly M (gb) wrote: why studios think that tragedy is necessary in children's movies is beyond me... in this case, it simply ruins an otherwise exciting, compelling story while adding absolutely nothing of value. I do not recommend this movie.

Sanity Assassin (de) wrote: 1 star for Dustin, 1 star for Emma, half a star for the pace & on a level of personal preference half a star for the setting.

Petter S (us) wrote: It's a low budget affair, and it shows, but at least Steven Seagal is doing his fight scenes himself this time.

Heather M (nl) wrote: Painful to watch at times, heartbreaking and breathtaking, while at once beautiful and funny, this movie is an unforgettable portrayal of a family--a young boy, his mother, grandmother, two younger siblings and uncle--whose lives are irrevocably altered by war. The actor who plays Chava is perfectly suited to the prodigious task of carrying the film and telling a story of the ravages of war through the innocent gaze of its youngest casualties.

Tim N (it) wrote: I read a SMS somewhere in the middle of the movie and got lost when I started watching again. great visually tho.

Carl S (nl) wrote: Great fun - all the essentials from Smack the Pony are there. It's not the greatest movie, but has it's moments---

Wes S (fr) wrote: Bit of a mess of a film, however it does hold some interesting concepts and characters. The acting is terrible, and some moments feel so stupid. Decent ending, leaving off with a mostly entertaining vampire flick.

MissElana N (ca) wrote: This is one of my favorite time-travel themed movies of all time.I was pleasantly surprised at this film as I watched it on a random whim.I highly recommend this to sci-fi, literature, and history fans.

James W (nl) wrote: Simply a masterpiece with Yasujiro Ozu's distinct mature style and tons of memorable scenes. This was the first family drama I ever saw and it is one of my favorite films of all-time.

Alejandro R (gb) wrote: I had been wanting to see this film for some years and I can now say it was well worth the wait. Great futuristic story, phenomenal cinematography, and strong performances from a great cast. It reached a climatic gripping segment that was so amazingly done in every way that I found myself having to stand to watch it, as I was being so deeply drawn into the scene.

Alex T (de) wrote: My first review of Zoolander said I enjoyed it more than any movie I'd ever seen. That was a decade ago. Now, I'm so old and weary that I found it boring and mean-spirited the second time around.
