When an alien bong comes crashing to Earth, it will take the world's strongest-- wait... bravest-- wait... HIGHEST heroes to stop it! Anyone who smokes from the bong is instantly transported to the creature's homeworld, where hot alien babes work to harvest their seed in order to form an intergalactic army to invade Earth! Hot chicks stealing sperm after you get stoned? This kind of sounds like it should have been called "THE MOST AWESOME BONG EVER" instead! What more could your average pothead ask for than a film that features tons of weed, tons of nudity, and two trippy talking bongs... IN 3-D and Sniff-O-Rama?! Well, it will definitely take a couple of bongloads to get through this boring mess, and the amount you've smoked will determine whether this is the best or the worst movie you have ever seen. Full Moon has always been known for coming up with creative stories and entertaining effects on no money at all, but the low-budget in EVIL BONG 3 is more apparent than ever. Poorly dressed sets, a recycled plot, and lackluster special effects... This is a long ways off from 90's classics like SUBSPECIES or the PUPPET MASTER series. At least August White's script stays consistent with the two earlier entries, providing the same enjoyable characters and inane humor for a few stupid laughs. Pack that bong tight and grab your 3-D glasses if you hope to blast off with EVIL BONG 3! -Carl ManesI Like Horror Movies

Rickey K (br) wrote: The movie started out like a romance comedy, which is not what I had in mind when it comes to one of the most brutal serial killers ever, it got darker and more intense later especially at the end, but the movie really skipped a lot of Ted Bundy's history
Caleb M (it) wrote: Edgeplay is one of the shoddiest, most poorly constructed documentaries I've seen. Victory Tischler-Blue seems more concerned with reminiscing and joking around with her old band-mates than asking interesting questions and probing for actual answers. There are numerous occasions in this film where she actually shows us band members telling her they will absolutely not talk about something. Why bother then? And where the hell is Joan? Not to mention the camerawork. At one point one of the girl's mothers starts crying onscreen, and the cameraman turns the camera on Sandy West. Tischler-Blue needs to point him back towards the mother. Meanwhile, a plane is flying overhead. What the fuck? That is not professional or compelling. It's distracting and amateur.I will say the first 30-45 minutes or so has some interesting information that fills in some of the gaps that Floria Sigismondi's film contained. Cherie Currie proves to be a mostly amiable and informative interviewee, although she does refuse to discuss certain topics. Kim Fowley also provides some interesting perspective, and I would have liked to have seen more of his footage. In the end, Edgeplay: A Film About The Runaways is worth watching ONLY if you want to know more about the band after having seen the 2010 film. It amounts to little more than a home movie of former band-mates and family members discussing parts of their past (with glaring omissions from nearly everyone, plus no Joan Jett). It's a bad film, with a few interesting tidbits of info thrown in.
Miikka O (mx) wrote: Actually, it's really tricky to review this movie. It's not an easy one, very stylish in its own way and also very Aki Kaurismaki. The movie has several layers and opens up even more after seeing it a few times. Dialogue, visuals and the minimalistic way of film-making, just great. Quite artsy as well, totally not everybody's cup of tea, but for those who love good movies, totally worth looking into.

Fraer C (es) wrote: This is unique. It's extremely low budgeted and the plot is, to put it mildly, not the film's strong point. And yet...it works. Why? Well Soledad Miranda is in it and she truly has an amazing screen presence. A cult icon in the absolutely truest sense (and she died tragically aged 27 - so sad). Also, the soundtrack is without doubt legendary - a lounge classic of the first order. This is not for all tastes but as a piece of Eurotrash it's just fine.
