The Lips

Three women travel to a distant place to do welfare work. They assist, listen, stay with the unprotected. An old hospital in ruins accommodates them. The imposed group life gets more complex as they start to know each other. The relationship with the others, the community, is also difficult. But, as days go by, they will start to melt into that human landscape surrounding them. To be part of the mystery of otherness.

Andruw F (it) wrote: It doesn't start nearly as solidly as the first, because the whole first act isn't great. It's sad how little the villain is in this, and how him and Holmes are together even less! But he is a good villain. The action is still good, and it still has laughs, but I'm not sure if there's more or less of both, and if it feels like there's not enough or too much. But the train scene is badass! Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law still give good performances, and their characters are still good. The writing was worse, from a duo that haven't done anything good. They should have kept the writers of the first, but just not had all four. It's also really long. It's a minute different in length from the first, but at least the first felt shorter than this. Guy Ritchie seemed to direct fine, but with as much bad stuff as there is, it's hard to tell.

Jessie V (br) wrote: It's a good concept, pretty good execution for the budget...but could have been better. The amount of intestins was pretty unnecessary/gratuitous after a point. Kudos on the pessimistic ending though!

Jay R (kr) wrote: Not too shabby! Julian Moore does a great job acting. Very interesting movie.

Maria I (mx) wrote: Tremenda! Cine Boricua para sentirse orgulloso...

Jenny R (gb) wrote: I think this movie could have worked as a T.V series. It's kind of hard to get into this world in just the hour and a half of a movie, so much more into it, it's almost a shame.

Andrey B (br) wrote: A bit controversial theme. And Nicole Kidman is mesmerizing as always.

Mert B (us) wrote: in my opinion this brilliant movie's magic has reserved its own universal story. kusturica's wonderful casts and besides his directing moves this film to our minds and hearts.

Wes S (ru) wrote: A unneeded remake that doesn't add anything to the original, making you feel like you're watching the same movie all over again- only less so. Carrie comes off as a Jedi from Star Wars, and her powers are less interesting. The climax is rushed and has too much spectacle to it, which really dumbs it down. The ending isn't as exciting or spooky as the original.
