Gustolfo T (br) wrote: Otra historia mensa ms del mismo Superman de hueva que siempre han manejado en los medios audiovisuales.

Richard C (ru) wrote: Not Ti West's best film but he does an excellent job when it comes to a switching story direction in a documentary film. Also Joe Swanberg and AJ Bowen both knock it out of the park playing the journalists investigating Eden Parish.

Allan C (ru) wrote: Solid, though not all that original, neo-noir. Kilmer is a PI hired by a femme fatal to faker her death. Double crosses and plot twists ensure. Enjoyable, but not nearly as smart or clever at say the Coen Brothers' first film "Blood Simple". The film does however feature a pre-Reservoir Dogs Michael Madsen as a psycho who likes to torture people.

Desmond H (gb) wrote: Independent of the original but equally intense & more complicated storyline.

Cem Regi Pixelmannen (de) wrote: Boring sad and not funny at all

Tobi S (br) wrote: I don't know why I want to see it, but it looks strange enough that it might be good. Then again it might be sooooo strange that it will do my head in!

James R (us) wrote: A likeable film about some sort of crashed pilot becoming friends with this Alien.

Dawn C (ru) wrote: If you've ever worked in an office setting....YOU KNOW! This movie couldn't be more perfect, there is someone exactly like every single one of these characters and it is miserable...unless you're Lumberg-then you're probably oblivious. I felt like I was living this movie every day for 14 years at my last job...I was a mix of Peter/Milton.

Now what does this say about my taste, or does it say more about the Punisher's that came before...TERRIBLE. Mind you minus the music driven kill scenes from John Wick which proved successful, there are certainly similarities in tone and shade between the two. The biggest difference being $$$ in the end. I often feel that in regards to a film like John Wick and The Punisher, we often forget the importance that a sound track can really make on the visual impact on a film and the choreography of both. For me a good example of a film that could have been better not by re shoot, but just by better editing and a much better sound tack and respect to the original is The Wild Wild West. Will Smith aside, that is another story. So, if you have not seen it...give it a try... and then think about the last Fantastic Four....LOL
