Right off the bat his real self/personality is fairly transparent and shallow, which speaks for his acting skills = poor. The other 'real' Killeen's men are much more interesting, sincere and would have made for a better movie. In conclusion the 'Killeen' men in the movie who were NOT a genetic relations match to Jim = lucked out. Bozo movie D-

As with previous Bond films, there's a bunch of 80's influences here, the most visible probably being Scarface. It was also nice to see personal story for Bond, though by the end I'd forgotten Felix survived, and it was cool seeing a young Del Toro. Gender roles are addressed but never challenged; Bouvier was one of the most capable Bond girls so I had hoped to see her in action rather than pining for Bond, but all in all 'License to Kill' is one of the best Bond films yet.

Young, classically-trained singer is plucked from obscurity and becomes a success. Complications arise when she is also offered a chance to sing with the Opera, in decidedly classier surroundings. Grand, but dated period film was a huge blockbuster in its day and it's easy to see why. Nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Picture.
