Phil N (kr) wrote: A bunch of kids break into a house of horrors and one of them (Yuki) disappears. Ten years later she returns and the friends reunite to discover a) if it really is Yuki, b) what happened to her, and c) what she wants now that she's come back. Given that this is a ghostly tale you can probably guess this ain't Friends Reunited. The narrative is a little confusing but Ju-on director Takashi Shimizu crafts a nice looking picture with some impressive visual sequences. I can't comment on the success of the 3D since I only watched the 2D version.
Wes S (gb) wrote: The plot is boring, the characters are terrible, the acting is awful, and the CGI snake is below average. There's a number of familiar faces, but sadly they are not able to make the movie. Laughable scenes everywhere. Basically what bad movies are made of.

Reece L (br) wrote: If the concept of freedom is what drives Blue, the first of Krzysztof Kie?lowski's Three Colors trilogy, then the verdict on whether or not it exists does not seem to be a positive one. Julie's life is upended by a sudden death, and this sets off a series of reactions that force her to question her own individuality and her relation to those in her life. Kie?lowski's direction is gorgeous, imbuing various hues of blue throughout and exhibiting stylish, though never bombastic, flair behind the camera. This is not a happy film, and its message is both true to life and beautifully communicated, suggesting that the act of living is never up to any individual's choice, that free will is a myth predicated upon the desire to assuage the fears of those who desperately want to stake a claim on their own existence; eventually they, like Julia, will be forced to acknowledge this harsh reality.

Teresa S (us) wrote: Very morbid, no budget, but 2 stars just for originality. This collection of horror shorts had a couple of very original pieces, including my favorite, "Devil Rat." I liked its ending (Devil Rat)! The very cliche nature of these various vignettes shot locally made for "had to watch" viewing just to see where it was going!

Carlos M (gb) wrote: Very well directed and certainly one of the scariest movies I have seen in the past few years, this smart horror movie knows how to avoid the clichs and maintain a constant tension instead of going for the cheap scares - and it really knows how to scare the hell out of the viewers.

Khadija K (mx) wrote: It was sooo good the romance was intense and the movie itself was great. They stuck to the book very well. I hope they do one for the whole series
