(it) wrote: For fans of horror looking for increasingly more intense thrills, the story will hit home, but will not deliver on those thrills. As a concept, the story is terrifying. Especially coming after the many extreme haunted houses popping up around the country, you will wonder where you would draw the line. The acting is wonderfully authentic, feeling like an actual road trip between friends, driven by one man's quest to be truly frightened. Presented as found-footage, the movie delivers by steering away from shaky cams but leaving you to wonder, who edited this?Once the credits roll, you will definitely be questioning what exactly just happened. This gives the movie a reason for a rewatch, but the second viewing may bring the film down more than it lifts it up.All in all, a feeling many a horror fan has had matched with some creepy carnies make for an enjoyably chilling, albeit forgettable, found footage movie.

Winders 'road trip' which is a lot more than just that, is a film that goes beyond the comfort zone of the average viewers, who want a simple ABC story, well you wont get that. Until the End of the World, covers many angles, from romance, lost, intrigue, science fiction, the beauty in the world and for me the most fascinating aspect is many different percpetions about the world it self, dreams, life. This may be too much for most people to handle, and I know many will settle for the simpler 158 m cut made for the mass viewers but to understand the whole story you need the 5 hour directors cut.High notes -Dr - Wim WendersAc - William Hurt, Solveig Dommartin.ScriptMusic TrackPhotography

(ca) wrote: It's tough to make a movie about the consequences of the gangster lifestyle without glamorizing the very thing you set out to critique. This film does not fall into that trap. I should note that the location shooting is stunning.
