Tony W (ag) wrote: Story is not the cream. The cream is the slick styling. Worth to see this movie purely for the fine styled house. No exaggeration.

Lester S (de) wrote: Funny Danish film about a man with anger management issues whose life is ruined after watching a bad art-house movie decides to take revenge on the egotistical director. Could have been even funnier, but became really predictable towards the end. I caught this on a China Airlines flight, but don't worry, this one has Hollywood remake written all over it, starring maybe Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller.

Tony (jp) wrote: IMO this is Guy Maddin's most underrated film. It's shot differently and has much more dialogue than his other films, but the visuals are beautiful the acting is unique and the film in general is dreamlike, hypnotic and otherwordly (all qualities I like very much).

Nik M (jp) wrote: Satisfyingly mellow and subtle, this adaptation if faithful and somber. It reflects and contemplates as well as entertains.

The Movie G (ru) wrote: Hilarious and spooky??. A movie that will always be a classic!

Michael M (jp) wrote: By now a timeless classic, I feel like we throw it on at least once every December. It's like comfort food for the soul.
