The plot is a beautiful portrayal of everyone's struggle to stay true to one's self without being consumed by desire or falling into self-loathing. A forgotten gem

Love Pat Healy, Kene Holliday was brilliant and many months later I'm still catching myself singing "the new national anthem"

Only The Polar Express truly rivals it in every category, from animation to heart, but there's a simple joy and pure honesty to Arthur Christmas that's unique to the film and also the embodiment of holiday cheer. This is easily one of the best Christmas films of the decade, if not the very best, and certainly at the top amongst films of this magnitude, of such high quality animation and voice work. Arthur Christmas takes a stab at answering all of the usual Santa Claus questions -- does he exist, how does he deliver presents, how does he keep it all organized, how many elves are there, what does he do when he retires, who takes over for him after all the years -- and approaches them all with resounding joy, visual delights, and heartfelt honesty

not a bad movie but it was hilarious

I watched a silent, B&W, Spanish retelling of a traditional folk tale; pretentious, yo?While this didn't avoid all the cliche traps, the way bullfighting and flamenco were woven into the story was very satisfying, and the combination of Andalusia, 1920s costume and the cinematography was irresistibly gorgeous

/10. No se compara con las primeras dos, en definitiva es mejor que la tercera, pero la historia sigue siendo aburrida

Nevertheless, with some improvements to the acting and screenwriting, this is a series I could possibly get behind, and I wouldn't mind if they make a sequel. Instead, this is more like "Twilight" for guys, and so the range of its appeal is limited. But with a plot filled with bad, clichd teenage drama, "I Am Number Four" is geared more towards young adults, unlike Harry Potter, which appealed to audiences of all ages. Don't get me wrong; there is a lot of potential here. Despite its absurd premise, "I Am Number Four" insists on taking itself too seriously, and as a result, is not as fun as it has the potential to be. "I Am Number Four" fails to do this. They knew they were based on fantasy novels, and they embraced that and had fun with it. They knew their source material. One of the best things about the Harry Potter films (at least the early ones) was that they didn't take themselves too seriously. "I Am Number Four" is no exception. Because of their success, it is inevitable that every film that is an adaption of a young adults fantasy novel will be compared to the Harry Potter films
