Brendan M (kr) wrote: A great movie with great performances. Give this silent film a chance not bad at all. Standout performance for sure from Jean Dujardin!
James H (fr) wrote: 2.5/10. Misguided low budget action film, badly directed and acted, foul and unpleasant. You never care about the characters or the plot. Crap. I also find it difficult to take any movie seriously when it is directed by a person with a single word noun as a name.
Chris M (gb) wrote: It's pretty rare that I switch off a film 25mins into it, but Jon and I did so last night. The plot? Well, based on the little we saw of it... a pair of French brothers, one of whom is a bit poorly, yammer on a bit. Erm...I have sat through, and thoroughly enjoyed, any number of pretentious, talky, action-free French films, but this one takes the biscuit.

Micah F (es) wrote: While it's certainly not perfect, especially when compared to the giants of the man-on-the-run genre, I can find few glaring flaws with Gary Fleder's "Impostor." Nothing about the film ruined or took me out of the experience, and at times I even found myself becoming invested. That sounds like a pretty well-put-together film to me. Perhaps it should have remained a short film like it started out to be, but it still managed to keep me consistently interested throughout its expanded runtime.

Daniel K (ag) wrote: I'm fond of this movie, perhaps because it's so ridculous, perhaps because it features E. G. Daly as a girl who chews on a toothbrush.

Sylvester K (mx) wrote: The writing was uneven, characters were unlikable, everyone was shouting, and most importantly, you don't have to crawl. It's a B movie that came out of Australia, so you can't really expect much from them. Acting wise, it was just dreadful across the board, everyone was terrible, especially Peta Sergeant, she's the worst. It's basically a downgraded version of Aliens or Event Horizon, with all the soldiers being Hudsons. Althought there's a nice little twist at the end but it doesn't serve for any satisfaction. The problem with the film was the amount of questions left unanswered, you really can't enjoy the film because the characters are all so irritating.
Brad G (it) wrote: I love love love Mario Bava and I've been wanting to see this movie for a long long time. Unfortunately, this movie was terrible. Spaghetti Comedy Westerns rarely work and this was no exception. Still, it's always nice to see what Italians find funny.
