Ethan P (au) wrote: A very funny movie with a wholly original atmosphere. Johnny Depp gives an excellent performance as the eccentric Edward D. Wood Jr. and the supporting cast is entirely great as well. And although the real Ed Wood's films never turned out very well, his behind the scenes stories have made for Tim Burton's best film to date.

Sean R (au) wrote: I do not care if Jack Nicholson himself directed this film, it is not one of the best westerns I have ever seen. You would think with a cast like Nicholson (As Good As It Gets), Lloyd (Back to the Future), Steenburgen (Joan of Arc), Belushi (Blues Brothers), and DeVito (Big Fish) that this would be a very entertaining movie. As much as I found it entertaining, I think I would rather watch Anchorman with Will Ferrel. I can see the characters ??slowly?? developing throughout the film, but I think I can see the flies slowly buzzing through the room as well.

Patryk C (fr) wrote: I Walk Alone is a daunting noir movie, which is basically great, because of the effective acting skills shown by Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas. Every one of their heated encounters is mesmerizing in all of its intensely gripping style. While the story about disloyalty, greed and redemption is truly appealing, this climatic noir doesn't stand out in the genre.
