For him to pretend that he's a fan of Lincoln is outright ridiculous and goes to show he'd do anything to make a buck. He is a plagiarist and nothing more. Anyone can write about what others have covered from head to toe for over a hundred years. The only reason I watched this is because of Tom Hanks, if Tom Hanks is a fascist Nazi Teapublican like O'Reilly, I'll never go see another of his films again and hope they both rot in hell for what they have done to the American people with W Bush who has destroyed our country so bad almost 8 years later we are still trying to get out of the hell they put us in. Fuck fake fox propaganda and Bill O'Reilly is a bitch I'll slap any day of the week.

Does this work? Middle class woman helped to look for her missing little by by rough Beirut taxi-driver. In this respect its a road movie set in the blood-soaked shambles of southern Lebanon. Not revolutionary, as two people get to know each other in adverse circumstances (Oh yes adverse all right, as she tries to find her sister's body in the stench of a mass grave). You get to expect the ending, by near the end that is. The Israelis are like a force of nature, like a tsunami which returns time after time, killing the innocent and guilty alike (mostly the innocent). This shows fictional tragedy but only four actors were used - everyone else is a real person, and no sets.

Lasagna gobble up the fat cat is once again animated computer. At least the other animals is correct, or at least almost, namely Garfield is the movie royal lookalike. London scenery in the background is a nice view, but still other film does not work. But this can be one way to entertain younger visitors.

Jeffery T (es) wrote: It was kinda good with this kind of voyeuristic pseudo documentary feel. Some of it was a little forced and if Arcand had perhaps pulled back a bit it would have been a really good film.

Senor C (au) wrote: Oh my girlfriend will never forgive me for having her watch Harvey Keitel torture that cat to death in Argento's half of these Poe tales (actually I saw these better done in Corman's Tales of Terror). I do have to say that cat didn't look like it was having a very good time. No wonder they had to have that huge disclaimer @ the end that no cat's were physically or psychological abused.

Ryan R (kr) wrote: I watched this daily as a kid. I can't think of a movie I've enjoyed longer, though it's much more of a nostalgic reminder of my youth than anything. I just wish someone would re-release this on DVD.

David F (it) wrote: Quite a hard slog to watch as an adult, but I would think kids would enjoy it, even today. Takes quite a while to get going - endless footage of the canine hero coming and going pad the running time out to an annoying degree, and it's much more violent than I remember - but that's strangely refreshing in a way. Beware - there is an inordinate amount of polyester slacks on display.
