Jeffrey M (de) wrote: A very well done depiction of the events leading up to D-Day, headlined by one of the strongest performances of Tom Selleck's career. The film manages to convey the sense of stakes and tension throughout every scene, a testament to both the acting and the writing. There's no action scenes to be had, it's not that type of war movie, instead it conveys the complexities of the war through dialogue and the fascinating, yet precarious, dynamics of all the commanders involved.4/5 Stars

Dan H (jp) wrote: Ultimately, it's the tale of a rivalry between two showgirls, and it's not very interesting or engaging. The nude scenes are, for the most part, well done. Even they get old after a while though. The cast consists of unlikables, including our lead Nomi, who is played by Elizabeth Berkley. The girl definitely knows what she's doing physical and dancing wise, and she's very pretty but she's not a good actress. The only real ok character here is James, played here by Glenn Plummer. He is a man who promises to help Nomi perfect her dancing skills early in the film, but doesn't actually have much of a role here. Showgirls is a bland, dull, and boring film. It's pure trash.

Zack L (it) wrote: It's not as British as it looks. Half of it is, but the other half is insane. Richard E. Grant can make a lot of different faces, but most of them are creepy as hell. He should've played villains in things. Maybe he did.
