The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human

David Hyde Pierce, playing an alien (credited as infinity-cubed in the opening credits), narrates a courtship in a late-20th century American city as an extraterrestrial nature documentary. The relationship "footage" is played straight, while the voice-over (with its most often wildly inaccurate theories) and elaborate visual metaphors add comedy.

Lea W (us) wrote: This is a good non-fiction movie it's nice to see the director's view it should have been a little more like the real thing. I do love the message and the meaning in this story.

bob l (br) wrote: Very funny, with lots of nice touches. Both stars shine.

Tony L (ca) wrote: Barry Pepper and Thomas Jane totally steal the screen in this well casted, engaging baseball drama. Pardon the pun but Billy Crystal hit a home run with 61; the movie made me (not at all a Yankees fan) want to put on the pinstripes.

daniel c (au) wrote: Hmmmm this one or Dances with Wolves.......such a choice.

John B (fr) wrote: Perhaps a bit tame by today's comparison, Diary of a Mad Housewife was unique for its time period in depicting the depression felt by those stay at home moms. Kudos to Frank Langella who I haven't managed to see much in his youth.

Mark N (mx) wrote: Not content with Deth's creepily mismatched pursuit of Lena from the first movie this time we see the old man lock lips with an even younger co-star at every opportunity while not doing the same to his child bride. The plot has barely moved forward and many of the ideas and scenes are like alternate versions of the first movies. To its credit the cast return and the characters so sync up but with no new ideas the steam runs out very quickly.

I understand why people don't like this movie because it could be too shaky for them since it is in first person, But to me, that made this movie all the better. The only other movie make my draw drop this badly was Mad Max Fury Road. If you can handle a shaky camera and gore up the ass, then go watch this movie, it's fucking awesome.
