Hrant B (ca) wrote: Ironclad is a dark, bloody movie about the King John of England that signs the Magna Carta only to dismiss the document and rage war against the barons. Good cast, but I am sure a much better English actor could have played a better role than Paul Giamatti. Paul is a great actor but not as an English King. Overall it was a good movie, with a good plot. Okay to watch once.

Jesse P (de) wrote: Extremely minimalist in nature, maybe even to the point of laziness, but nonetheless, this film could have been much better. Tense and well shot, but lacking in heart. I never really cared for anyone in the film, and without that, who cares what happens? So close to being an unforgettable experience but for now, this movie will sit in the recesses of my mind, waiting to be forgotten.

Casey B (br) wrote: Buried underneath all the excess (never has wall-to-wall music been more obvious or obnoxious) and heavy handedness is a very good movie that is aided by excellent performances all around. Worth a watch for any basketball fan just to see a young Allen carrying his own in his scenes with Denzel.
Sergio M (de) wrote: just what i needed: something daft and cool at the same time. a mixture between bond, the pink panther and the original batman tv series, this is more a collection of 'adventures' than a film in itself. but still really enjoyable. i'm not big on 60s design and (male) fashion, but i have nothing against 60s retrofutures (diabolik's cave is simple amazing). oh, and i'm leaving the best for the end: HIS BLACK RUBBER OUTFIT!! i want it. i need it. please santa, i've been a good boy, please. pleeeeeease.

Enaid N (es) wrote: One of my all time favorites. <3I absolutely love this movie. From start to finish, I could not take my eyes off the screen. The soundtrack is awesome and the characters are believable and likable. I LOVE the 70's feel. The music, the clothes, the hair, the story, everything. Just a great, fun movie to watch. I am adding this one to my personal collection.
Donnie H (it) wrote: When I seen this film, the main thing on my mind was how this movie is to Star Trek, as Space Balls is to Star Wars. The big difference being that Galaxy Quest is filled with energy, has a better cast, good music, and much better humor.; while Space Balls lacked energy, good music, and good humor, and instead made lame references and ridiculously stupid gags (like giving Yoda the name "Yogurt", and giving Chewbacca the name "Barf") rather than actually making jokes based on the subject matter. Basically, Galaxy Quest succeeds on everything which Space Balls fails. Galaxy Quest also has surprisingly decent special effects (and fantastic ones in terms of most parody films). I also really love the cast of this movie; my favorite actor in it is Alan Rickman. Overall, even if you aren't a Star Trek fan (neither am I), you should be able to enjoy the great writing, funny jokes, great cast, good effects, and good music. This is one of my personal favorite parody films.
alexandra c (jp) wrote: Worst movie ever, the first movie was awesome showing how much Pocahontas and John Smith loved each other, but now she falls in love with someone else and leaves John Smith. The second movie should have them ending up together since they couldn't on the first one. This ending destroyed the whole thing!!
