Carly B (br) wrote: The Player is hilarious, dark, and insightful, not to mention it is dripping with irony. It makes you think about what goes into making a great movie and the lengths that people will go to.

NaWie M (jp) wrote: If anyone ever thinks this movie is even close to good. Please let me know, cuz I think these days many movies are made cuz some people just dont have better things to do. This movie is an excellent example!

Helen P (ru) wrote: The worst film I've ever seen.. and I've seen Couple's Retreat and Sorority Row for christ's sake.

Battle T (ca) wrote: Pushing it. The first two were enough. I liked the first too. But this one wasn't as good.

Alexander P (br) wrote: A documentary that shows the real side of Brazil that is painted over but through the last few years and some major media coverage is being exposed - shocking, emotional and despairing - no-one should have to live in this way

KS G (de) wrote: Some things just can't be told, you need to experience them for yourself. If you are a lady, trust me, this movie takes no prisoner. If you are a guy you might just learn something that will someday save your life.

Ben H (ca) wrote: Cliche, mawkish-ridden sentimental tripe. One of Mike Nichols' worst films.

Jeff B (ca) wrote: I got the feeling I would be able to appreciate this film better if I were actually familiar with Mishima's works rather than just the insane ending to his life. So, I found myself more interested in the day's events rather than the stories of his life. I might be able to enjoy it more on the level of "I'm Not There" if I'd lived immersed in his works like I have been in Bob Dylan's.

Robert J (au) wrote: the belly of the beast, the beast is Seagal.

Walter M (gb) wrote: When Julian(Alphonso McAuley) and Anthony(Scott Mechlowicz) open a private detective business in Montenegro of all places, their first case turns out to be trying to find Catalina(Paz Vega) who also just happened to steal Julian's cell phone and Anthony's car and is now having a lot of trouble trying to get out of the country. She is also the last survivor of a massacre wherein she absconded with a hard drive that Carver(Karel Roden) desperately wants back. So, he sends Helen Bingham(Janet McTeer) to get it back for him. "Cat Run" is a fairly entertaining comic thriller with a very high body count and delusions of a sociopolitical statement. As such, there is nothing here that we have not seen many times before, especially in its convoluted plot. Well, there is the terrific Janet McTeer taking the movie and running with it in a change of pace role as far as it will go. That's got to be worth something, right?

Sam B (nl) wrote: Wow. It's weird to say that DR. GOLDFOOT AND THE BIKINI MACHINE (the first movie) is a film of amazing comedic talent compared to this one. This was filled with the sort of one note jokes that Benny Hill was famous for, but did better. There were so many things that happened in this film that neither served the plot or were funny in the least. Even Vincent Price's performance, usually good for an oddball laugh, was completely unbearable.04.06.0852nd Film of 2008
