David Klein (au) wrote: A boring and predictable movie laced with bad acting throughout. There is a reason most people have never heard of this movie.

Simon S (de) wrote: Heartwarming comedy about a great father/son relationship and a film that shows that having a simple loving family is one of the best things to have. A breath of fresh air.

THOMAS S (fr) wrote: With this film is one of the better Chuck Norris movies with this having Chuck take on the forces of hell

Mattin B (fr) wrote: Visconti takes us on this epic journey as we feel the love and hatred of all the characters. Has some of the best acting I've ever seen on the silver screen, particularly by Girardot and Delon. The atmosphere is also achieved by fantastic cinematography and a moody score by the unrivalled Nino Rota.

Andrew H (gb) wrote: This is a really good attempt to make a gritty western; and there are some scenes in it which makes this film not a 'routine' western of it's time. At first I was unsure about Gary Cooper's role in it but he plays it quite well as the man who has to to be tough and clever to stay alive. The story is really good; maybe a few more action scenes would have made it better. But that aside it's a story about reform, changing your ways and good vs bad!

James B (mx) wrote: This was ok. I thought that the ending of the movie was kind of anti-climatic. They followed a list of steps to leave the City of Ember, and that was it. I expected the Mayor and his goons to be more of an issue, and they weren't. So, for me there wasn't that suspenseful scene at the end that completed the movie.

Evan J (kr) wrote: I am going to put this as nicely as I can:This movie was pure garbage!

Willem W (es) wrote: Kooky little movie with weird little connections, some great 'where'd he come from" work from a young John Tuturro. I like oddball little movies like this.

Anne N (it) wrote: Loved this. Excellent acting, incredible story that deserved to be told.
