Kyle K (br) wrote: I normally don't watch documentaries but this one was fantastic. seeing how much effort these guys put into their music, you don't see this with hardly any of the pop artist out there and this is why I love rock and roll music!

Philip B (ca) wrote: Disappearance was a great movie, from start to finish was amazing, with an amazing twist only M. Night could only dream about. Loved every moment and loved the english voice cast.

Rose S (de) wrote: this movie was good! and the ending very shocking....the couple that split up not so much but how they acted. wow!

Cheryl L (jp) wrote: Don't know why I wasted my time watching this when the first one was not good. Storyline was stupid and nothing in it was really funny.

Cameron R (kr) wrote: I thought this movie was pretty awesome,It's Van Helsing meets Dante's Inferno,it's an intense action packed fantasy thriller, and I highly recommend Solomon Kane to anyone who really enjoys fantasy movies with nonstop action because this one delivers :-)

Carlos M (ag) wrote: A pretentious soap-opera/melodrama, ridiculously self-aggrandizing, that seems like an empty exercise to explore the beauty of Almodvar's muse Penlope Cruz with his lustful camera - and the unwelcome self-reference to one of his classic films is not only unfunny but a complete embarrassment.

Brandon R (jp) wrote: The acting, writing, and direction of this film were astounding. I was expecting a poorly executed melodrama, and Heights is anything but. I desperately want to see or read the play it's based upon.

bill s (it) wrote: A black comedy that'll leave you blacked out.

PWNED (nl) wrote: I watched this movie with my brother on his computer and it was absolutely hilarious. It's totally one of the best comedies ever and I wish I could find it on VHS.

Art S (ru) wrote: Fassbinder's second feature sees his career-long themes already in full-bloom. These characters are inhumanely cruel to each other, even as they maintain a posture of friendship. Of course, outsiders are treated especially inhumanely -- as demonstrated here in the way that the several couples that populate the film (and apartment block) react hostilely to the Greek immigrant (referred to by the slang word, Katzelmacher, which seems to refer to sexual behaviour as well as foreign worker status). Fassbinder implies that money drives all human relationships and shows us this in a number of prostitution-like relationships. To get us to focus on such themes, everyone is using emotionless Brechtian delivery here and the cinematography suggests a translated play (everyone faces the audience). But there are also purely cinematic devices (a recurring tracking shot involving pairs of characters strolling arm in arm) in use. I like Fassbinder, so I might find this more engaging than the average viewer -- but if you like this one, there are further masterpieces to discover.

Sanity Assassin (it) wrote: mostly i enjoyed watching incubus. it wasn't great, but what do you expect? it was entertaining for what it was and tara reids rack helped the watchability! hmm, this has really got slashed by other people. oh well, i found it alright. there was some good acting that seems to have gone straight over some peoples heads and also some quite tense moments. also there was a plot to this... but even if there wasn't since when did a slasher movie fucking need one? they're just there to alleviate 80 or 90 minutes of boredom

Lotti K (de) wrote: Not the best adaptation of LeFanu's "Carmilla" (that title belongs to Hammer's "The Vampire Lovers"), but still a fun watch and a classic mainly for the stunning visuals.

Bradley F (ag) wrote: This movie has a serious case of missing identity. When watching Body of Evidence, I noticed that the film is constantly switching from a crime drama to an underground porn movie. It also doesn't help when you're lead actress isn't even trying to act and also the script is filled with a clumsy storyline and hokey dialogue. Let's explore this mess of cinema known as "Body of Evidence". Rebecca Carlson (Madonna) is accused of murdering of older lover by literally fornicating him to death. Soon, her attorney (Willem Dafoe) begins to also fall for her sexual charm as a long and boring trial goes on in the background. I will say this much for the film ,it does have an interesting premise and there could be a great film here. But the screenwriter Brad Mirman doesn't know what to do with the premise. In fact, it pretty much is secondary while the sexual relationship between our two lead stars is the priority. And I am not exaggerating here, the sex scenes in this movie last close to 10 minutes at a time in this film. We get that Rebecca is a sexual beast, you don't need to hammer it in. When we're not trapped in a bedroom with Madonna and Defoe, we are stuck in a Courtroom filled with boring dialogue and nothing interesting comes up. Yeah, we get more details about Rebecca's sex life with her lovers but that's not enough to hold up a whole story let alone a film. Just like the sex scenes, the courtroom sequences seem to last FOREVER! It's like watching a really long episode of Law and Order SVU except there's no tension, no interesting characters and nothing interesting to say. The film is just a boring, bland and tasteless waste of time. Madonna's acting is as you expect, zero skill with no effort or validity. There Is one scene where it looks like she is trying, but it's just even more proof she should stick to music. Also, her character is really flat and one dimensional. Rebecca Carlson is an attractive woman with a huge sexual appetite... so what? As a writer and storyteller, you have to give us a reason to care about this woman besides the fact that she's beautiful. It's not just her, Dafoe's character is not that great either. He is an attorney who is conflicted about his job and his "feelings" (I use the word loosely) for his client who could be a murderer. But not once does the film delve deep into this conflict or what the character is feeling. In fact, we hardly get to see his relationship with his wife or anything else. The film feels so closed off and only focuses on the sexual nature of this story. All in all, the film has a premise that could be intriguing but the execution is not done very well. The acting is sub par, the writing is beyond ridiculous, the characters are boring and the direction is also really off. Only question is... why didn't this film get more Razzies?

David J (ag) wrote: The acting could have been a lot better, but Lucas made a charismatic star, and the film is dazzling. Kind of makes you think of the Titanic.

Edgar C (nl) wrote: Unlike Makavejev's female liberation manifesto Montenegro (1981), Haynes makes a strong statement in favor of the less fortunate and most misunderstood. Yet, I feel bold enough to argue that the least thing Safe is, is an ecological commentary against pollution and chemically intolerant people. It's a slowly absorbing feature about an apocalyptic collapse that mankind is pursuing with its current structure. The hous... homemaker is the typical symbol for this. This ain't no Poison (1991) and homosexuality is out of the formula for now, yet it is modern American film direction like it is no longer done.97/100
