Dynasti N (gb) wrote: I loved the remake to the original film, not a ripoff but a remake.

Paul D (mx) wrote: Drab representation of a bright American subculture, but it suffers from underdeveloped characters.

Daniel O (nl) wrote: while my body was physically located in the theatre and my eyes were on the screen, my mind remained distracted by the constant symphony of snorts spouting out of the girl one row behind me. moral of the story, i'm not really sure what was going on in the film but i can say that mira sorvino was lookin too good! oowee!

Jen R (ca) wrote: I really liked it a lot. I have been on all ends of this story, so I really felt it. Good stuff.

Alexander B (nl) wrote: Thought I was convinced but the ending was terrible and later it turned out to be a great disaster

Dan F (us) wrote: If Moebius directed children's nightmares, they'd be like this. I didn't see this until I was an adult, and I found it cruel and unsettling, and largely humourless. And to be fair, Dahl is darkly comic. The animation is similar to Cosgrove Hall's tv work- charming for 5 minutes of Dangermouse but not engaging enough for a full feature. I hope one day Ghibli pick it up, because it's the right sort of material for them.

Senor C (gb) wrote: Anita is a young nymphet who's hungry for the cock; she's just gotta fuck, suck, or jerk it to satisfy her sad illness that can only be cured by an orgasm (which she readily goes looking for in a rather larger vibrator). Im surprised she's not a walking social disease the way Lindberg goes through men.

Navin J (br) wrote: Its not 2 Days in the Valley - it's cute and I liked the ending.

Kevin M W (es) wrote: Well meaning but ultimately stilted (and supposedly) comic piece about opposites attracting that sadly fails. Hoffman (unusually cast), Baldwin and Azaria endeavour mightily to shock the dead here in secondary roles but the film's strict adherence to the well worn formula kills any laffs 5 minutes before the punchline arrives. Only for blue, blue days.

Jon N (jp) wrote: A rather poor remake with shaky video camera work. Some small nods but mostly misses the point.

Brendan C (mx) wrote: Although it is plagued by awful status quo Star Wars prequel dialogue, Revenge of the Sith ultimately tells a very intriguing story of how the fear of loss can drive good people to do terrible things. There are a lot of great moments of emotional tension in this film, as well as some excellent story telling techniques. Although the performances in this film are mostly bland, there are also some very good ones, in particular by Ewan McGregor and Ian McDiarmid. The movie is strongest when it relies on visual story telling that is enhanced by John Williams' fantastic score.
