Eric K (br) wrote: Overrated and boring. I hated these people (I am assuming I was supposed to) within minutes, and knowing that they would never face judgment, I stopped caring.

Nick M (de) wrote: Intense thriller that was certainly memorable and unique. A very disturbing story and from time to time can feel confusing and even incomplete.

Robert H (ca) wrote: FOUR LIONS is an excellent send-up of Islamic fundamentalists, particularly of the British variety, but the narrative is a bit scattershot and the ending could have been better. Overall, there were lots of individual scenes and situations which were hilarious, but they often felt strung together and episodic. Still, it was a really ballsy film that should get laughs out of you. On a side note, watch for a cameo by Benedict Cumberbatch.

Will V (gb) wrote: This is an actually very funny, Canadian B-movie. A few familar faces from Trailer Park Boys, make appearances in the film. It also takes place in Nova Scotia. If you enjoy trailer park boys, you will most likely enjoy this.

Carters R (jp) wrote: Super boring. Incredibly boring.

Carlos G (jp) wrote: So good. Makes me feel good being sociopath and enjoying other peoples Misery's makes me feel norm. Great cast and amazing characters.

Beryl S (mx) wrote: I absolutely LOVED this movie! It introduced me to th Gospel of St. Thomas, which, as a Catholic, I had never heard of before. I wish anyone bashing this movie would explain themselves ineptly.

Viktor B (nl) wrote: A sci fi/fantasy/action thrill ride that is brutal and intense to the very core. It gets a little iffy toward the end, but ultimately proves to be satisfying. It has an interesting story to top it all off. Some people will be thrown off by the more bizarre elements, but for those who stick out will find this one to be just awesome.

Abigail B (gb) wrote: The film Tombstone was based off of a historical event that happened in the 1800's in Tombstone, Arizona, but it is not meant to be seen as a documentary. The movie was made to be a western film and in order to grab the audience's attention and have them enjoy the movie as a western genre, they couldn't be focused on how historically accurate the setting of the movie was. The acting was phenomenal and has become my favorite movie!

Chris J (ca) wrote: Had it's charm, but was so fucking bad. I remember the terror I went through watching this, now it's just embarrassing

mike p (br) wrote: Combining Greek Mythology and their signature gothic horror touch Hammer films delivers The Gorgon courtesy of go-to man Terence Fisher. And the results are very cool. Anytime you had Fisher in the directors chair and a gothic horror film to be made the results were always awsome. The scene were we first get to see the Gorgon is anything short of masterful. Italian Mastro Bava couldnt have dome a better job with that scene. Fantastic castles and thick atmosphere.

Ross V (fr) wrote: Effective, despite a lack of plot. Very well directed, keeps you interested without much plot, character or dialogue. It's as if the same eerie force present at Hanging rock beckons the audience as well.

Alex r (fr) wrote: This is one of those films that has had the some fairly negative press, but it isn't as bad as it might seem. The idea here is quite good, but due to the fact that it mixes multiple genres and it's a film that doesn't know what it really tries to be. It's not a bad idea, but the film feels rushed in its ideas, and it doesn't try to elaborate in what it presents us in the film's story. The film presents good ideas as well, but it never really explores in depth what it suggests, and it's disappointing because if the ideas really would have been better developed, The Ledge would really have been a great film. This is a good affair, but it could have been so much more as well. The cast is quite impressive, and there are some good performances here as well. The Ledge isn't a perfect film, but it manages to be entertaining for what it tries to do. If the script would have been reworked slightly with some of its ideas better developed, then I think that the film would really have been a great affair. Though not perfect, The Ledge doesn't deserve the flack it has received, it's a film that manages to have good ideas in its plot that make for a good viewing experience. But since they are a bit underdeveloped, you simply are left wanting more out of the film. The film does have some tense moments, and has an interesting idea on faith, which is something we rarely see in films, and it pulls it off nicely.
