Lenzi even gives of a disclaimer @ the beginning of Man From Deep River that these represent primal tribes but it's cheap entertainment. For that this loses merit which is too bad because what remains isn't too bad; it just goes to the animal butchery well far too often. Kidnapped by a savage tribe Ivan Rassimov must endure until he gains acceptence. In the process he has romantic interest in Me Me Lai who is quite the beauty to behold. Her nakedness is much appreciated. I could watch her run naked through the jungle for hours. For that alone it's worth checking out...maybe if there was an animal friendly verison like Cannibal Holocaust.

Graeme F (it) wrote: I've enjoyed several of Klapisch's films in the past, so I was looking forward to this one. I was sadly disappointed. Unlike his entertaining ensemble movies 'Paris' and 'the Spanish Apartment', this one focuses on two main characters, whose lives intersect in a very contrived manner. Lead actors Karin Viard and Gilles Lellouche try hard, but the story is just too dreadful. It starts out badly, when single mother of three, France, who has recently lost her job, decides to commit suicide DURING her youngest daughter's birthday party (yes, she couldn't even wait until her guests had left!). Saved from death, our heroine decides to leave her kids behind and move to Paris to find a job... and inadvertently ends up working for the evil share trader who caused her to lose her previous job. From there, it's pretty much all downhill, to the unsatisfying conclusion. I'd send this pie right back to the kitchen!

Mikko T (ag) wrote: The us-navy ship makes incredibly haunting environment for this sci-fi thriller-movie and the cinematography is great, but the story itself has too many and too big holes and the action-scenes have no head nor tail. Nice to see "android" Henriksen again...

In 1974, an American agent injects himself with werewolf blood, goes on a mini-rampage and is put in cryogenic status until reawakened 20 years later by lead villainous government agent Barry Bostwick (Spin City) in order to conduct experiements by placing steel skin on the subject. Unbeknownst to the entire science team (led by Kim Delaney) there, the werewolf transformation starts up and everyone is now being ripped apart by a super-wolf, played by none other than Kane Hodder (Jason from Friday the 13th's 7 through 10) in a fun monster suit performance. Overall, the movie is pure, corny 90's low-budget horror. Still, the cast manages to be rather enjoyable. The deaths offer nothing new, but the fun creature and make-up effects (overseen by the great John Carl Buechler) manage to make this small film better than average. I really wish that it would be released on DVD. I know I would purchase it!

Brian S (jp) wrote: The most absurd of Herschell's low-budget splatter movies from the 60's. It's not the most entertaining flick, but it's actually the best. But for a splatter film, there isn't actually enough gore for it to be called a " splatter flim ", but at the same time, it's from 1964. The acting is horrible, the country themed music is absurd and the gore effects are real cheap. But the cheap technicolor of the film looks beautiful on the film and it's still worth a look !!
