Ernst W (mx) wrote: It seems like Hong Kong movies are having their confident to win back the name of top 3 film industry in the world, but I wonder how will it work when the scene of their star system stays the same as 20 years ago. However, "City Under Siege" provides more choice beside Hollywood.

Chase P (jp) wrote: At an hour and 18 minutes this complete indie is exactly what it should be: content. There is no big revelation, social change, self actualization, or poignant statement. This is an inside glimpse of an encounter that ultimately weighs heavy on their lives, and more films should brave into this quiet territory.

Matt G (jp) wrote: a great movies that shows the soldiers on the opposite side in the Pacific war.

Ciaran S (jp) wrote: Barnyard is an embarrassment to the animation industry.

August C (gb) wrote: So plot doesn't matter much, kinda like a Chinese Borne Identity film....but the stunts and martial arts are well worth the watch.

Cocteau came up with some tricks here he would use throughout his later work, and, while they tend to have more effect in those later, more thoroughly considered films, he's blazing trails here in a way few filmmakers ever have. The man clutching at the wall, the woman with unblinking eyes painted on her lids--these are the images I will think of when I think of "Blood of a Poet."

Jack W (gb) wrote: Tom Cruise is as watchable as ever, but Jack Reacher doesn't bring anything new to the table in regards to crime investigation thrillers.

steve c (ag) wrote: This movie is awesome! I dont understand the haters....just because a film does not have John Wayne and an overblown budget does not mean its not entertaining and well written. Richard Boone excells as always, Jim Brown makes his debut, Stuart Whitman in the lead, what more do you want? No cliches, just a great movie.

Lupine S (ca) wrote: O_o freaky yet.....somehow.... yeah no...just freaky.
