Justin W (kr) wrote: Meh... At times the movie was interesting, and at others, it was painfully dull. The dialog is bland, the back story confusing, and there is this cruise ship... Who the hell knows what is going on. This movie lost me on multiple occasions. Some stories are left hanging, others go off half cocked. Might be worth watching on mushrooms.

Kristen M (fr) wrote: Taking Chances was movie that only had a few lovable moments and even fewer laughs. Chase Revere, played by Justin Long, was trying to stop the town from building a Casino in his small town because they would be building over his historic museum/battlefield. When a new mysterious women Lucy, played by Emmanuelle Chriqui encourages him to do a full petition/protest things can only get worse for poor Chase. The movie has a lot of twist and turns but does not pack a punch. Even though there are a lot of big names in the movie, they should have put the budget less towards the salaries and more toward the direction of the movie. Like all lesson learned there is a reason why the women is mysterious and the good guy always get the last laugh. I would give this movie a C-.

Matt C (fr) wrote: This has some pretty terrible reviews but I really, really enjoyed this. I laughed out loud at least 3 times and my son was engrossed, especially in the first half. It probably runs out of steam a little bit, but with such top notch casting I still thought this was a really good toddler aimed film. We like to move it, move it....we like to MOVE IT!
