shawn g (ag) wrote: finally a realistic, gritty fighting movie. it doesn't have much of a story but since when did any MA film have one? i liked this movie for the real fighting and i was impressed by almost all the fight scenes. some of the points didn't click or make sense but that's o.k. with me.

Ellen T (ca) wrote: I don't know how to rate this movie. It was unbelievable!!!! It was totally scary and mysterious at the same time. After seeing this...you won't want to go under the knife EVER AGAIN!!! My son was in a coma. What was he thinking? What did he experience in his "other" reality? What about Terry Shiavo? I would like to hear from others about what they felt when watching this movie.

Eric K (it) wrote: Hahahaha! The rating on this film is NOT "G" as stated in flixter. :) A man leaves his wife on a sexcapade adventure (telling her that he's off "studying"). The man gets a penis transplant because his "member" is too small to adequately woo women. Subsequently, in the midst of his womanizing endeavors, he's beaten by jealous husbands and dominatrixes, damaging his newly transplanted penis. Meanwhile, the lonely wife gives into loneliness, gets pregnant, runs away, and is sold off to a brothel. Eventually, husband and wife meet in the brothel where the wife hangs herself out of shame, and the man runs off to a monestary. A movie about Karma and sexual restraint. This film is part comedy, part drama, coupled with many steamy & risque scenes. A few of the comedic scenes really hit the mark (if you have a warped sense of humor like I do). The scene where they transplant the horse penis onto the guy was quite hilarious. However, much of the humor is extremely cheesy. Not something I'll be clamoring to watch again, but it had its moments.
Jonathan B (ag) wrote: Oh, wow this was a bad movie. I thought just seeing Chong would be funny enough to make this movie worth watching...it wasn't. It did have two or three laughs towards the end, but most of those I was laughing at how dumb the joke was, not how funny it was.

Jason V (kr) wrote: There's a reason why Looney Tunes, Merry Melodies and Silly Symphonies cartoons are shorts: they lose their luster when strung back to back to back in feature length format as they are here. On their own, each mini-story can be entertaining and hold it own; together, they're overlong and begin to be unfunny. Not much more to say. If these shorts can hold your interest, so be it. But there's not a ton new under this sun.
Ben B (ag) wrote: Early French heist film with a suave and compulsive gambler at the center. And his name is Bob. Melville's nod to American gangster filcks. Hate to say it, but found it somewhat boring except for the 1950s Paris settings.
Garth D (ru) wrote: Hey look, it's one of Viggo Mortensen's first starring movies! Also, it sucks. It is extremely slow-paced with precious little happening for the first hour+ and there is so much shit that is either unexplained or poorly explained. Motive is questionable, and what the hell is the point of having the "original" guy also played by Viggo if it has absolutely no bearing on the plot.
