Miss Brooke D (mx) wrote: MAY CONTAIN SPOLERS. It's very noticeable that they refined the motion capture and the overall look (great hair, clothing fluidity), but it's such a shame that the story is actually pointless, and there is no clear lesson to learn. Is it about standing up for your opinions? Or is making a point that disobedience is okay? I don't want to give too much away but the plot involves "Giselle" and "Swan Lake." And it's odd that they didn't RE-cast her as the lead in The Nutcracker as well (although the lead characters ARE present in this movie, sort of). Dialogue is weak and the storyline is a mess. This movie might just be FOR KIDS after all. I had high hopes for it though, because Princess & the Popstar, Princess Charm School, and The Mermaid Tale series were actually good. BTW, I saw this with my three-year old. She enjoyed watching the dance routines though.

Josip M (jp) wrote: It's a good movie. Owes a lot to Asian revenge movies and animes. Though a bit light in motives (everything is portrayed black and white, and I don't think that the subject matter allows for a simple portray like that) it's still an interesting and valuable title to see.

Jocey D (au) wrote: Tense intrigue. Keeps you guessing. They don't make movies like this anymore: simple but effective at keeping you on the edge of your seat. Denis Quaid is always sympathetic as the good guy wronged. Danny Glover makes you wonder what it's all about, and you're still not sure by the end.

Bradley P (jp) wrote: A very erotic film (A large amount of nudity and sex scenes) that helps in developing the emotionally charged plot of a man looking for a woman for his next film (Think of Fellini's 8 1/2 ?) and is involved with two very different women. An interesting and intelligent film that is depressing and yet hopeful at the same time.
