(it) wrote: With a dull script, but some scary jumpscares, The Return is a good example of a failed attempt of make a clever movie and instead that, it was made a cliched and unoriginal movie which brings out the worst of, once talented, Sarah gellar and a boring and over-exploited narrative in this genre.

(de) wrote: Wow. What a plot. I loved this film. It also proves that Lucy Liu isn't only in rubbish films like.....everything she's done but this. If you like an intellectual, plot-twisting, witty movie, then give this a watch.
(ca) wrote: Josh Hartnett breaks up with his girlfriend so he vows to be celibate for Lent. It gets out of hand and gags ensue. This is what you would classify as one of those "cute" comedies. It's essentially a rated R romantic comedy, but it's lacking more comedy than you'd hope for. Pretty forgettable film, skip it if you can.

(br) wrote: Grave Encounters is pretty good. It doesn't really bring much new to the table of found footage movies set in haunted asylum's, but it fun nonetheless. There is at least a reason to keep the cameras running. The breakdown of the psyche of the characters was very well done, although one character goes a bit hard on his own stereotype to be believable. The asylum itself is extremely creepy, and unnerving. As the movie goes on we realize the whole place is moving rooms and hallways around and is quite merciless in scaring the film crew. The premise is good too with a ghost hunting show of people that go to supposedly haunted places, embellish heavily and overact to make it look like these places are really haunted (for ratings). Too bad they found a really haunted place.
