Bruce R (de) wrote: I suppose I wrongly suspected this be a comedy so it made me forget to watch for the performances of the drama since I was busy looking for more laughs. The awkwardness of the whole film provides enough laughs though for a 2.5 rating.

Enos L (mx) wrote: Victoire was three when they started filming. Her acting is incredible! I hope to see more of her. This movie will touch your soul, unless you don't have one. ;)

AD V (au) wrote: Warped, sick, and twisted but all in a good way. This is Muppets Gone Wild complete with drug addicted rabbits and slutty hippos. The downside is that it goes on far too long and the New Zealand accents are really thick making hard to understand.

John D (kr) wrote: Amazing puppet effects. But sooooo slow, especially the opening 10 minute docking sequence. Loved the goofy 'music video' though.

Art S (ru) wrote: A young boy is thrust into the center of the action when his dying mother sends him to be cared for by a notorious gentleman (this is the 18th century) who secretly runs a smuggling ring and has a taste for flamenco dancers. Fritz Lang handles the action well (the boy stumbles into a tomb, finds a lost diamond, watches sword and gunplay) and the sets and cinematography can be cool. There's even George Sanders.
