(nl) wrote: Bland, unfunny, and sadly, boring to watch. Inconsistent characters made it so hard for me to love the film, although i think kids would still find this enjoyable. i tried to love it, guess i've failed.

(jp) wrote: i like this movie because it shows it doesn't matter what you look like you can still fit in
(ru) wrote: One of the more strange movies I've seen, but friendship really plays a part in this.
(fr) wrote: WELL, this movie is pretty corny. The characters are weird, a little overly dramatic, and strange! When I was a kid, I watched this movie and laughed with it. Now that I am much older, I watch it and laugh AT it. The pranks Junior plays are funny, but otherwise this movie is just plain weird! Same goes for the sequel--very predictable, corny jokes and sappy ending (except the sequel's end was better.) Regardless, this is kind of a decent movie and is still enjoyable. HOWEVER, don't expect a lot of adventure and excitement!
(es) wrote: It's nothing spectacular but it's one of those over the top cheesy horror films you just can't help loving, the it's so bad its so good type. There's a random scene with a martial arts teacher, not to mention a brian blessed lookalike wrongly accused who tries to fight everyone and then there's the shock ending which is just hilarious

(es) wrote: Mondo Topless has more nipples on screen than any other film out there hands down, but offers not much of anything else. The flick is a documentary about strippers mainly in San Francisco and other locales throughout the world. While the screen is packed with shaking breasts there are interviews playing in which the girls describe their lifestyles and their dreams and aspirations. Russ Meyer does apply just enough style and general Meyer kookiness to make the production watchable.

(it) wrote: Not David Lynch's best work. It is one of his most interesting, though. The way I look at this film, it's part one of three separate works of his that begin with a story that's coherent and intriguing, only to spiral out of control with symbolism and metaphors. Those other two works are Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire. Both of which are much better; however, for the case of this film, what makes this a lesser work to those two is the excessive nudity. There's just too much of it. If it were not for Patricia Arquette's breasts bombarding the audience over and over again, the film would have been able to be taken for what it aimed to be taken for, which is art. No matter how good the first have is--and it is good--it doesn't change the fact the Lynch forgets when to draw line between art and porn.
(ru) wrote: It's as a comedy, well a dramady. But it isn't very funny, outside a few Murrary zingers. The lead performances are good, especially scenes between Murrary and DeNiro. Kinda hope these two hook up again.

(au) wrote: Love Prince! If watching this movie you have to realize that these people are singers and not actors. This was 1984. Prince actually had a hand in helping Apollonia and Morris Day and the Time get started with their music. What you see or will see is that his home life was just like it is betrayed in the movie. To me for what year this movie was made and who was in it, they did the best acting they could. It wasn't great, but I have seen worse. The story line to me is on point and ends well. And yes it has some of his greatest music because it was the 80's when his career really peaked. I can watch this movie several times and not get sick of it. Some cheesy lines, good music and moves, some laughs, sad moments, sensual moments and feel good moments. If you want a great acting movie you wont find it here, but you will find what all I have said. Princes' real life in a movie.
