The Picture Of Dorian Gray

The Picture Of Dorian Gray

Dorian Gray, wishing to remain young and handsome for eternity, essentially sells his soul so that a portrait can age instead of him. Over the course of the years, Dorian commits every sort of sin, heavily influenced by his friend Lord Henry Wotton. But as his life goes on, he slowly realises the emptiness and evil which he has succumbed to.

The movie opens with the story of a corrupt young man. He somehow keeps his youthful beauty, but a special painting gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all. Can he still have salvation or is his soul trapped in the doomed painting? . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

John D (ag) wrote: Easily the worst animated film of all time

Janoy F (fr) wrote: The message of the film outweighed the acting and the consistence of the transitions between scenes which made the overall delivery a bit tepid but.. it's still a decent film if you look at it through a purely connotative outlook

April W (kr) wrote: I liked this one better than the second one, but I think that they should have just made only 2. they could have combined the second one with the ideas in this one. In general I enjoyed it though.

Jackson M (fr) wrote: Pretty decent, Timothy Olyphant does a good job at playing 47

Vincent T (au) wrote: Bon film de guerre avec Bruce Willis plutot pas mal.

Dave M (fr) wrote: Not as funny as his later movies, but you can see where Jay C derives some of his humor from.

Francisco G (mx) wrote: Another Corman Alien rip off (I lost count on how many Alien rip offs this guy has made) that is as boring as it looks. Just worth it for the complete godawful love couple, Bryan Cranston looking grave around the super horrible looking alien design and some hilarious puppet fights. Even the gore is boring on this one! Just steady shots of corpses laying around.

Cody C (ag) wrote: Awesome doc, albeit too short and not very comprehensive. As it stands its just a slice of a very interesting life. Louie Bluie is instantly charming and an absolute genius. Even if you're not a fan of old-timey music, you'll get a kick out of him.

Gary H (ag) wrote: Robert Mitchum returns home to take up where he left off as a bootleg runner. Not only the police (Robert Stack) but a crime mob who want to move in cause trouble. Bruce Springsteen who never saw the movie was inspired by the title to write a song with the same title.

Simon P (jp) wrote: JCVD teams up with Barbarash again, not as good as Assassination Games but still very violent and very Van Damme.

Neil P (fr) wrote: A nice change to see a film well under 2 hours with a coherent plot. The film instills a danger I haven't seen in a western for a long time where it feels the weak are absolutely powerless against those who prey upon them. Until they make the mistake of messing with Mads Mikkelsen of course. Mikkelsen continues to be one of the most captivating actors on screen with that rare ability to look fragile and/or terrifying at any given moment. The washed out colours and graining making the night and day segments interesting to look at too. A solid little film.
