Jenn B (ru) wrote: Ridiculous, pointless, however, somehow managed to entertain me. I had low standards that day.

Faisal A (es) wrote: The film never quite manages to figure out what it's actually about. Veering wildly from madcap farce to social satire to sentimental family drama, it just doesn't seem to know what chord to strike. As much fun as repeatedly punching yourself in the face.

Graeme B (jp) wrote: Another very good instalment and probably the darkest and most emotional so far. Special effects sequences took a back step i felt, allowing a fine script to further enhance the characters and the progression of their relationships.

Jeremiah U (ru) wrote: It is fun to see where some of the best actors have come from.

Megan (fr) wrote: Aside from the fact that technically, "Madge" (Kim Novak) never really does find the kind of love she is looking for: someone who loves her for more than her beauty, this day at the picnic turns out to be QUITE an exciting, melodramatic mess- which is VERY fun to watch! An enjoyable movie.

Walter C (mx) wrote: Gretta Garbo is amazing and the scene between her and John Gilbert (I think it's him) in the inn room where she is memorizing every detail of the room is fantastic. It's hard to believe that this movie came out in 1933. It seems more recent than that.
