(ca) wrote: Great kids film with some great songs and an enjoyable story. I found myself laughing much more than I thought I would.
(nl) wrote: Heart on its sleeve, tightly written melodrama that fails to get out of its own way at most times.

(ag) wrote: 1/20/2016: A pretty good movie with an excellent cast. An interesting murder mystery story with some twists.
(ca) wrote: Much better than the 2nd installment. It forgets II and is in line with the first one. It follows the same formula as the original, but it's shot nicely and Christopher Lambert is better here. Also, Mako was born to play the mentor. And Kane is a better villain than Katana, but still no Kurgan. Less cheesy than the 2nd, but it's clearly a 90s movie.
(jp) wrote: Great action packed movie. Good storyline.
(de) wrote: Nick Nolte stars as a basketball college coach Pete Bell in Blue Chips. After his first losing season, he decides to grease the wheels some and acquire three hot new stars for his team. When the players and alumni he bonded with start asking questions and handouts he finds himself trapped and full of regret of what he had done for the game he loves. Blue Chips is a decent basketball movie that has good cameos and a typical performance by Nolte, but does not have the right elements and direction to really take off.
