Tutto abbondantemente gi visto, trito e ritrito in mille salse. L'unica eccezione la provenienza austriaca del film, ma la solfa sempre quella, e ormai ha stancato. Lasciar perdere.

One thing that amazed me about this version is that the scenes seem to be actual characters as well in the play. The backgrounds were real and surreal at the same time. The reflective black floors and the imagery of mirrors all over the sets gave rich depth and meaning to the scenes and the overall play. Definitely a masterpiece.
Brian R (it) wrote: Norifumi Suzuki's "School of the Holy Beast" is quite a shocking picture develing into themes of torture, brutality, catholicism, and lesbianism. It is the usual story of a young girl who's mother has died(I guess at the Covenant) so she decides to find out what happened. It's a ridiculous film but I couldn't help but admire the cool camera angles and bright use of vivid colors. As for the characters? My guess would be the filmmakers were more interested in the torture and sex these characters go through rather then the human conditions aspect.
