The Quantum Activist

There is a revolution going on in science. A genuine paradigm shift. While mainstream science remains materialist, a substantial number of scientists are supporting and developing a paradigm based on the primacy of consciousness. Amit Goswami, Ph.D., a pioneer of this revolutionary new perspective within science, shares with us his vision of the unlimited potential of consciousness as the ground of all being, and how this revelation can actually help us to live better. The Quantum Activist tells the story of a man who challenges us to rethink our very notions of existence and reality, with a force and scope not felt since Einstein. This film bridges the gap between God and Science. The work of Goswami, with stunning precision and without straying from the rigors of quantum mechanics, reveals the overarching unity inherent in the worlds major religions and mystical traditions. Dean S (fr) wrote: It's a predictable/nothing special action film but it gets a pass mark from me. Jason Momoa put in the best performance for this film.

Rachel R (au) wrote: fantastic documentary on the casting of the revival of A Chorus Line. Real life talent & angst in stage tryouts for a show about stage tryouts talent & angst.

No es una cinta terrible, pero pasa por debajo del promedio.

The plot itself, though populated with an abundance of twists and turns, is purely conventional by noir terms and thus fairly predictable (even though the film takes so much joy in trying to pull the rug out from under us). Also, the pacing is sluggish and moves slowly from one plot point to the next. However, the viewer can not take their eyes off the gorgeous imagery the film provides for us and the performances are uniformly good and keep the film interesting. An efficient example of neo-noir that pays homage to its source material at the expense of originality.

Utilizing footage left over from the first GAME OF DEATH film, Lee (counting a total of about 10 minutes screen time) "acts" to mounds of mis-matched footage until he's mercifully killed off 1/3 of the way into the film. Film also boasts lousy colour correction and sound editing, as well as poor dubbing. Good for a laugh on a slow night.
