It may not have received the best cinematography or the execution that it's subject required, but however, it's still got enough plot elements in it that would intrigue the viewer. The story relies on too many coincidences, however keeping it aside, it's ending is well crafted and has got many stunning twists.

To much banter and comedy as if its a pantomime! Nice effects for a Turkish film! Nice idea for a film. Just not pulled off that well!
Allan C (es) wrote: When this film originally came out, it had the novelty of being a horror film where the villain was a tiny grotesque leprechaun. Rematching the film now, the novelty of the film is far and away the fact that megastar Jennifer Anistion (sporting LA Gear) is starring in an unabashedly trashy horror film about an evil comical leprechaun. Warwick "Willow/Wicket" Davis plays the evil leprechaun who gets angered at a group of young people after one of them steals his gold. The young people include Aniston as the pretty girl, Ken "Summer School" Olandt as the hunky guy and Mark "Pee Wee's Big Adventure/Teen Wolf" Holton as the town halfwit. Regardless of the entertainment value of this being an embarrassment on Jennifer Aniston's filmography, the film does actually have an appropriately unpretentious tone that is fitting for the film's goofy premiss of an evil leprechaun horror film. Straight faced horror films work for the right type of story, but writer/director Mark Jones does get the tone just right for what really is a ridiculous holiday horror film premiss. Overall, this is certainly not a film to go out of your way to see, but it is awfully entertaining to see Jennifer Aniston in a role that's not far removed from Linnea Quigley or Adrienne Barbeau and even though it's a very silly horror film, it's never boring.

Eric R (ru) wrote: Seventh Heaven is an epic romantic melodrama spanning many years. It tells the story of Diane, a young prostitute who is saved from her tyrannical sister by Chico, a young sewage worker. Although a prostitute, Diane is a very sweet, kind individual who Chico let's move in with him for the time being. This is only my second venture into Frank Borzage but It's becoming apparent that his optimism towards humankind is refreshing, yet far more nuanced than Frank Capra's. The relationship that slowly forms between Diane and Chico is so tender, and genuine that it's just beautiful to watch. So many films these days are made in a way that at times the characters feel as if they are slaves to the narrative. This film lets the romance between these two individuals form in a very slow-paced naturalistic way, through initial doubt of their living situation even working out, to full-blown love and admiration. Chico's character is such an optimist--one of my favorite scenes being on the balcony, early after Diane moves in, where Chico professes to Diane that he never looks down, but how one should always keeping looking up. It's a beautiful sequence that essentially becomes the tagline for this film. This is also an extremely well shot film-from the slums of paris to the WWI battle sequences, Borzage really uses lighting and framing to his advantage. If willing, this is an engaging melodrama that features some truly memorable lines ("Let me fill my eyes with you") I have a feeling Borzage is going to end up being a top tier director in my eyes...
Sarfara A (gb) wrote: Mr. Majestyk action film directed by Richard Fleischer/ Starring Charles Bronson and Al Lettieri. The film is based on a novel written by Elmore Leonard. Vince Majestyk (Charles Bronson) is a Colorado melon-grower who treats his immigrant workers decently. After he battles a corrupt labor operator (Bobby) Majestyk, though, is the one who lands in jail and becomes the target of an assassin (Al Lettieri). Film opens beautifully and finishes in style. Charles Bronson doesn't seem to go on break in good-old-decade-of-70s. He owns charismatic personality in the film, fearless man without gun, his fist is enough to send guy like Al Lettieri flying down like a thin-light paper. Excellent music-score adds so much more to sweet story that is just worth watching again and again.
