Angela M (gb) wrote: I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't stupid over the top action nonsense which was a pleasant surprise.

xniquet L (kr) wrote: This movie would have made a fairly good Chinese adventure flick if they have taken out all the lame comedy.

Juan B (ca) wrote: Phenomenal filmmaking. I laughed, I cried, I saw the unlikely ninja hero overcome all odds and karate chop his way to victory! My favorite scene was the one where he threw a ninja star into the guy's spine, killing him instantly. Truly the apex of quality entertainment.

Jim B (kr) wrote: Started out very strong, but it seemed to fizzle out at the end.

Roy H (us) wrote: This is the best romantic comedy ever. I have seen it at least 40 times. And every woman I have watched it with has loved it. Most people I have recommended it to start off with, "Oh, I don't really like Meg Ryan that much.." or some similar negattive comment. But after watching, they go like "Well, I must say it was pretty good." "And who was that French actor", meaning Kevin Cline. Trust me, the more you watch it the more you will like it. I am confounded by the low ratings people give it. The only explanation is that the low ratings come from those that have never been in love. Particularly in France. A great movie is easy to define. First you need a good story. Then a screenplay with well defined roles. Then great casting. Good acting. Great cinemaphotography, a great sound track, great editing etc. French Kiss has all of this. If I could have made one movie, this would be it.

Tsukasa A (au) wrote: It was released in 1994 but is still fresh and enjoyable.

Jack P (br) wrote: A typical no brainer chick flick with a predictable plot and Sarah Jessica Parker ad the main character, what could be worse. A bland film which will only appeal to woman hence the title being a dead giveaway.

Pumbs S (jp) wrote: Crazy Kung-Fu action and all around great movie!! Ghostface Killah (Wu-Tang) got his name from this movie and a couple of lines were used in his song 'Winter Wars' from the 'Ironman' album!!

Rodney E (mx) wrote: A gem that I haven't seen since it's last theatrical release. Aside from racial stereotypes I do not see the drama surrounding the non release of this. Further ludicrous thinking on Disney's part is the idea that they ban this yet have a popular ride based off of this. Dont people wonder where Zip A dee doo dah comes from? Disney should be happy that this stands the test of time in terms of it's animation.

Najd G (ru) wrote: I'm still deciding if the plot is more ironic that this movie had the Seahawks as the worst team in football (in the very year they entered the draft as Super Bowl champs in reality), or that this movie was about the Browns slam-dunking a draft by making picks based off athletes' character (in the same year they drafted up to get Johnny Manziel).

Marcus M (es) wrote: Bored housewife cheats on her husband, then meets another man who she falls in love with overnight and leaves her husband and child with her new lover the next day......that being said, Jeanne Moreau is intriguing and it's beautifully shot and there's some great use of Brahms' music throughout the movie.

Bell J (us) wrote: It goes from bad to worse, to meh. Tries to show you the resilience of the human spirit, yet it doesn't reward you with anything, not a happy ending or a decent one, at least. No point having hope - the only insight it offers. It's exploitative. Drama porn. Soft porn. The film has no heart, although it claims to have one, brags about it too, overly indulging itself at every turn. You look at it and there's crap where the heart should be. Thank goodness for Jessica Chastain. What a tremendous actor. But even she couldn't save the film from itself.
