I'll change.

A fantastic compilation runs during the credits to celebrate the latter. It's goofy fun. After all the unnecessary phone drama, at the end you'd think it would linger a bit and fade out slowly. Instead, it cuts to Jackie breaking his back on a picture frame. It's strange. 20 minutes was cut for the US release, maybe.

(gb) wrote: despite a strong cast, the film is weak, with naff jokes and loads of pointless crazy characters - some laughs, but too much woody-allen-dialogue and dollops of clichs
(jp) wrote: Tongue-in-cheek horror movie with self explanatory title. Some of the worst acting, even for a B movie. Classic lines delivered through choked laughter. A STD that turns adulterous mothers into cannibals, when viewed through a microscope is, in fact, a cartoon! When the mothers turn cannibal their faces are really creepy.

(ag) wrote: The Hunter is an Iranian film directed, written and starred by Rafi Pitts. When I started watching it, it slowly drew me towards its robust climate, hardly few exchange of dialogues in duration of 18mints. Yes I knew it was my cup-of-tea. Rafi Pitts plays 'Ali' a night-watch and hunter, his wife and daughter have been killed in exchange of fire between police and insurgents, he has identified dead-body of his wife, but not of his daughter. He is lonely, speechless, perplexed, political-prisoner. He kills a policeman at vintage-point exactly in same manner, his wife and daughter were killed. He is captured into woods by two policemen (one being big-mouth corrupt, the other being polite and honest), they lose their way back. This is an essential part of film, this puts them to practical test of their lives. Excellent cinematography, handful of dialogues, but too much to fill the space. Roger Ebert says about character Ali (Rafi Pitts) "He has an uncanny presence. With his severe, tense face beneath a dark brow, he suggests Daniel Day-Lewis" (what else to say about this movie)!!!

(ag) wrote: This movie was very funny. It started off with a strong opening, and in the middle it becomes a bit cliche, but by the end it's still funny. Nicolas Cage, and Sarah Jessica Parker both give good performances as the two leads a couple who hit a rough patch do to what seems like a lack of commitment, but when all seems lost Cage proposes that they get married in Vegas immediately, upon arrival James Caan shows up, and notices Parker's character and how she looks exactly like his dead wife, after devising a scheme to get her the movie really gets a bit crazy, but it entertains. This is not the best performance from any of these actors, but they do wonders with the material given to them, and it really turns out to be a fun time, plus there a lot of great Elvis jokes, that don't suck ass. (Not a huge Elvis fan personally, but a lot of jokes about him really suck). Good movie it's a good rom com that came out before they all started to suck ass.
(mx) wrote: Part serious, part silly- it doesn't really work well, but it is a fun film. The effects and props are nice, and Stallone is still a likable actor- but his role doesn't feel too fresh. Schneider is unnecessary and usually unfunny, he feels out of place for most of the film. The movie isn't a great adaption, but there's enough action and eye candy to keep you entertaining through a majority of the running time.
