(ca) wrote: what a terrible movie. difficult to sit through, so pointless. what probably seemed like a good idea at the time was poorly writen and just a stupid movie. the acting sucked, the plot sucked and really had nothing to do with valentines day. just stupid shit that calls itself a movie

(jp) wrote: Between 2.5 and 3. This movie (which improves as it advances) describes the curious, strange friendship between a gothic adolescent which has not things very clear in her mind, and a mature salesman who does not seem to communicate much with anybody. Original in its characters, which do not act always at it is expected from them.

Gets a boost from Maria Ford, who is criminally not given co-starring billing alongside The Dragon on the box cover. The Dragon is game but seems out of place as a hospital intern and aspiring doctor. Another significant add to Imperial Entertainment's impressive slate of martial arts offerings.

The relationship between the two characters i.e Danny and Solomon is very well show. They eventually don't trust each other but soon become good friends. Leo delivers a terrific performance and so does the rest of the cast. The story is very simple and sweet. My only problem with this movie is that it is a little long and some scenes could have been edited. Overall this is a must watch.

(mx) wrote: The fifth in the Hellraiser series and the first going direct to DVD. It's a surprisingly decent attempt and is a dark individual story about the latest person to come into possession of 'the box'. Probably the best in the series since 'Hellbound'. I can't believe I'm recommending this, but if you approach with an open mind it's actually a decent horror film.
