Deb K (nl) wrote: The Terror Experiment would-coulda-shoulda been better than this. The basics are in place for a decent Horror/Thriller picture, but the entire production feels cheap, uninspired, incomplete. The plot flows easily enough, butt the action is dull, character development is nil, the acting is atrocious, and the pacing is poor.

Noname (nl) wrote: Political thrillers seems to be very common these days. We had "The Kingdom" "Lions For Lambs" not long ago. This movie have much the same content as both them mixed together in a fair and perhaps even better flick overall i thought atleast. The movie had slow tempo but still enjoyable to follow the story till the end and worth seeing for the good acting / story.

Matthew T (ag) wrote: Pretty good card movie, with enough twist's to keep you guessing till the end.

Daniel C (gb) wrote: J. R. R. Tolkien's original Lord of the Rings Trilogy was very different from Jackson's adaptations. They were a fairytale quest-timid Hobbits exploring the world, having amazing yet terrifying adventures on their way to Mt. Doom. Jackson's Fellowship of the Ring is much darker than its source. There is burden and turmoil of the soul, and constant violence. This definitely speaks to our times and the environment in which this movie was produced, but more so, it is (while different) a masterful portrayal of the original series. And I'll add: it could be more of what Tolkien desired had he not been trapped in the lingering Romantic era of literature. Get over the length; Jackson is retelling a beautiful story, not butchering the story as many directors have done before. His intro to the LOTR series has reintroduced the epic and fantasy to modern cinema with unparalleled power and grace.

Alex W (es) wrote: An ambitious movie that works most of the time. Sometimes the look and feel of it is amateurish, or maybe its just dated. I am just noticing there is a dog on the over which i don't remember in the movie. Lots of feel good moments and creative concepts and scenes.
