Paul D (gb) wrote: I was very sceptical about watching this given I have never watched anything Simon Cowell has his dirty hands on, but as a film it's quite an uplifting drama that's well enough directed to be given a chance for the reason that it is based on a true story and not completely superficial.

Ovi G (nl) wrote: If you're looking for a fresh, original sci-fi film, look elsewhere, 'cause "Mansquito" is anything but that. However, it IS a fun, gory monster movie for a boring, rainy Saturday afternoon. It kinda reminded me of the movie The Fly with Jeff Goldblum, they really tried to recreate that finesse or gore, and well since it reminds me of it they kinda succeeded. The same good old story, a few scientists find themselves near an explosion where chemicals just coincidentally happen to be, and in time turns them into, big, gross, slow walking, blood sucking mosquitos. You might like it or not. Who gives a toss:D

Todd A (it) wrote: Although it's got its moments of funny political incorrectness, the film is ultimately targeted at a very very young audience and it's unlikely anyone but them (or the nostalgic) will find much to enjoy in it.

Ian C (nl) wrote: The series really should have finished here and in my eyes it did. This is a quality ending to the trilogy (the least said about Grudge Song the better) it is also probably the nastiest of the Scorpion films. The opening scene on the subway sets the tone. The revenge is so sweet and the ending is immense. Shame they tarnished its legacy by making a fourth, thankfully Shunya Ito wasn't involved in it.

Jack W (kr) wrote: Very patriotic and serviceable film from John Ford, though I often feel that many Ford films suffer from a real lack of story. This film is no exception. That said, it is functional and serves it's original purpose which was to be a patriotic showcase for the Navy. There are some really good, highly extensive battle scenes and it is captured with some good cinematography. Other than that though, nothing particularly stands out.
