Jeri P (jp) wrote: Great insight into the Gallagher brothers' relationship and their crazy quick rise to superstardom. We even get to see a cameo from Rodney Bingenheimer at their first LA show! I enjoyed hearing from everyone and their perspectives on their history and dynamics. Too bad it only chronicles through the first two albums!

Alan G (nl) wrote: Probably one of the worst movies I have seen in years. How could such a cast fail to such a horrible extent? Meryl Streep was nothing but annoying - an overacting cliche. Robert Redford's acting was a bit better, but he wasn't playing a part - he was pushing through an agenda. It showed. Tom Cruise was himself - a facade. OK - the people who made this "movie" wanted to get across their ideas...but that was all they did. The did not entertain, they did not capture anyone's mind that did not already share their ideals, and they failed at making a movie. They made propaganda - and propaganda (whether right wing or left wing) boils down to just propaganda. Do not waste your time.

Konrad A (kr) wrote: In this movie Kevin Spacey who plays Lex Luther or is trying to fight superman but lex is very sarcastic and rude and that's his personality is he is funny. I like how superman will fight against Lex. And with Superman saving the plane from crashing was incredible I thought it was a very cool seein superman is strong that's why he is called the Man of steel but this is a movie I liked

VJ B (au) wrote: Pretty cool episode of Law & Order SVU. Not sure why they replaced all the actors and made it two hours though. Weird. Also Maura Tierney is timeless, because it's impossible to tell how old she is.

Gregory G (au) wrote: This ensemble comedy-drama about the romantic troubles of interconnected couples in Los Angeles is Robert Altman-lite. Writer-director Willard Carroll has assembled a superb cast but his insistence on reassuring audiences with simplistic resolutions and a love conquers all message is exasperating. Sean Connery and Gena Rowlands are an older married couple about to renew their vows but are conflicted by a past infidelity; two young couples (Jon Stewart and Gillian Anderson, Ryan Phillippe and Angelina Jolie) are confronted with commitment fears; a disapproving mother (Ellen Burstyn) comforts her son (Jay Mohr) dying of AIDS; a professor (Dennis Quaid) relates his tragic life story to a woman (Patricia Clarkson) in a bar; another couple (Anthony Edwards, Madeline Stowe) is having an affair. Connery and Rowlands have a wonderful rapport that is a delight to watch, but the reason to see the movie is Angelina Jolie. As a loquacious, struggling young actress with short spiked hair and pouty lips, Jolie is electrifying. Playing off the dull Ryan Phillippe, she expresses the vulnerability beneath the demonstrative appearance and is completely convincing in her affections. Cinematography is by Vilmos Zsigmond; Music is by John Barry; Editing is by Pietro Scalia.

Claire T (de) wrote: I loved this movie I thought Michael Keaton played a good part, I loved it but not sure if I want it on DVD, I loved this film, it was directed by John Schlesinger, it also starred Melanie Griffith

Brian B (it) wrote: Very Good Movie. A Ghetto Classic ! Perhaps Fred Williamson's best. Unlike most films of the blackploitation era, this one has a great storyline and real ending.
