Jack W (br) wrote: pretty cool documentary on a surfing gang from Sydney. The film follows one particular set of brothers, the Abberton's, through their legal troubles stemming from incidents related to their community. The film has some really great surf footage but at times devolves into a glorification of their life choices and their crappy situation they live amidst. Also, their are moments where the film turns into Jackass. The two best moments? when a guy gets a firecracker dropped in his sagging board shorts, right in his crack. hysterical. and Cyclops? sickest wave ever.

tara (br) wrote: a lot of good moments and a whole lotta heartbreak. through temptations, injuries and interferences discovering that if you believe in it enough you'll fight and forgive, you'll stand up for what's right and heal what's broken. morris & taraji as wonderful as ever.

Kyle M (au) wrote: A family-friendly version of "National Lampoon's Vacation" with little heart including a little philosophy being played and more comedic energy thanks to Robin Williams despite his spirited charisma being slightly lower. (B)(Full review coming soon)

Collin P (au) wrote: A fun and entertaining movie between two of horrors most iconic characters.

Dan A (gb) wrote: Works better as a theater piece but the terrific cast really makes it special.

Dougal S (de) wrote: A disappointing entry into Shameless' giallo collection. The film itself is stunningly shot, with some tense scenes and a haunting score... But none of that can hide a pretty confused plot which is never really explained in any detail. Plus the killings are pretty mild so nothing even for gorehounds to et excited about!

Carlos I (kr) wrote: Still such an awesome movie! It's too bad it never took off and made a directing career for Stan Winston. The scream Blu-Ray is great.

Jerodan D (ru) wrote: Excellent work from one of my favorite actors. Loved the world building. The action sequences were well choreographed. Looks great on Blu-Ray, too.

Bobby C (gb) wrote: John Wick brought a breath of fresh air to the action genre that was beginning to smell a lot like garbage. Actors like Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, and Liam Neeson were phoning in performances and drowning the market with direct-to-dvd trash until Keanu Reeves reminded us that he's good at this stuff too. Today will mark the return of John Wick to a cinema near you with John Wick: Chapter 2 releasing today. If you're a fan of action flicks, don't hesitate to rent or buy the original as you prepare yourself for seeing the sequel this weekend.
